As part of my advertising training at Bookshop School for Ads, I developed an ad campaign for Griffith Observatory to improve engagement and increase visits to the museum. I wrote content for all components of this campaign, including OOH posters, social media banners and pop up event concepts.
Expand Your Universe Campaign
Some of the world’s most celebrated astronomers are depicted on the monument that welcomes visitors to Giffith Observatory in Los Feliz, California. These celestial pioneers opened our eyes to the boundlessness of the universe and our place in it. In this campaign, six sassy star-gazers are resurrected with an urgent message for the public—come to the observatory and discover a bigger world outside of your own.

The astronomers have even infiltrated Tinder to seduce visitors into visiting Griffith Observatory. Swipe right to be taken to griffithobservatory.org.
Griffith Observatory will host monthly outdoor events through partnerships with local DJ’s, musicians, flow artists, and other multimedia/performance based artists. The goal is to create a culture of exploration, creativity, and mind expansion at “ California’s gateway to the cosmos.”
